Teaching Personnel are currently working with fantastic school located in Berkshire who are seeking a English Teacher to join in September 2020.
The School has been rated "GOOD" by Ofsted and is one of the top performing schools in the area. In 2019, 80% of GCSE students achieved grades 4+ in English and 74% in Maths. Ofsted described the school as friendly and harmonious, where individuals matter and successes are celebrated. The school pride themselves as having an environment where students thrive supported by the team of excellent teachers and pastoral staff.
The school are seeking a passionate teacher who is able to deliver excellent lessons that are exciting, engaging and inclusive. Suitable for an NQT or an experienced teacher. An experienced teacher would ideally have proven experience of teaching at KS3, KS4 and KS5.. The school also have links with the local teacher-training provider.

- QTS, QTLS or PGCE.
- BA (Hons) Degree in English or similar subject
- Experience as an English Teacher at KS3 and KS4.
- Experience in the same school for multiple years (Not applicable to NQTs)
The school are looking for a dynamic, talented teacher of English to join their team. You will have a passion for learning and teaching, together with the skills to inspire and motivate the schools hard working students. The full time role involves GCSE and A level teaching.
The school is inclusive of ages 11 to 18, located in a recently developed building with state-of-the-art sport facilities and situated a short walk from local train station.
The English department offers a wide variety of extra-curricular trips and visits as well as bringing the curriculum to life through author visits, house activities, competitions, and workshops, which inspire the students. The ethos for English at the school is closely aligned to that of the whole school where the school expect students to fulfil their potential academically, personally and socially.
