ENGLISH TEACHER - SHEFFIELD

*English teaching role in Sheffield to start ASAP

*Earn up to £160 per day dependent upon experience

*Potential of a permanent position in September 2018

Due to an unexpected absence, our client school in Sheffield has a need for a skilled English teacher to join them in April 2018, initially on a temporary basis with a view to becoming a permanent member of staff.

- £110 - £160 per day on supply

- Full time English teacher post teaching 11-16

"We have a need for an English teacher in April to teach across Key Stage 3 and GCSE groups for the remainder of the academic year. We have expectations of incoming teachers including planning and marking, along with contributing to the development of schemes of work. We are looking to appoint the successful English teacher directly after a successful temporary period"

Our client school is a well facilitated mixed secondary in Sheffield, with excellent public transport links (local train station - 10 minute walk, close to tram stops) and connection to the M1 motorway.

The incoming English teacher will join a large department with a history of delivering excellent results in attainment and progress across age and ability ranges.

The school require English teachers to have QTS (NQTs welcome to apply) and a relevant teaching based qualification in English and the ability to teach at GCSE.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
