English Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an English Teacher within the Torbay and Newton Abbot Area. You must have the ability to motivate and inspire children with good class management skills; you'll be expected to maintain continuous levels success while securing a working educational environment. This would suit an enthusiastic NQT or fully qualified Teacher who is motivated to continue pushing for high attainment and classroom engagement at KS3 and KS4 across the subject.

As an English Teacher completing an ongoing teaching post you will:

  • Work day to day, with the opportunity of long term employment
  • Be required to undertake teacher responsibility including planning, preparing lessons and marking (only for long term employment)
  • Have flexibility (no lengthy notice periods)
  • Gain solid teaching experience within a high performing department

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
