Teacher of English- September

Our client secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a teacher of English to join their department on a a full time basis to start in September, this position is originally temporary but has the opportunity to become permanent for the right English teacher.

• Attractive pay rates in line with MPS/UPS (£22,467 - £38,250 per annum)

Our client school is situated in Oldham close to Royton; the school is easily accessible via the A627 and has public transport links a short distance from the school. The cohort of students come for the diverse surrounding areas, with the majority of students being from minority ethnic background the amount of students that speak English as a second language is above the national average. The school is based on a large site offering brand new state of the art facilities and large classrooms for student to thrive in, with the excellent provisions the school enforces they have seen a dramatic turn around in student attainment. In 2016, 72% of students achieved at least their expected results in English and the school came in the top 10% of schools nationally for pupil’s progress.

The incoming English teacher will be passionate and willing to go the extra mile to support students, this will be someone that can facilitate and encourage a positive learning experience to give students the opportunity to achieve there individual potential.
