Our client school located in Bolton wish to appoint an English teacher on a temporary basis to cover an upcoming maternity cover within their English department.

The successful applicant will be joining a well resourced and managed department in a school which has consistently achieved ‘Good’ rating in previous Ofsted reports. The department is made up of 5 other members of staff and 2 full time subject specific support staff. The incoming English teacher will be initially required on a 2 term basis, however there is the possibility that this could be extended further with the department looking to overstaff the English department to cater for intervention support.
Our client school is located on the border of Farnworth and Little Lever, making it easily accessible from the M61 and M60 motorways. For non drivers there are strong public transport links from Bolton town centre and surrounding areas, Salford, Bury and Wigan.
The head of department is looking to appoint an English teacher who:
*Holds UK QTS and a PGCE specialising in English
*Is able to evidence a proven record of delivering ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ teaching practice
*Can consistently deliver engaging lessons to pupils of all abilities across KS3 and 4
