* Smaller than average Secondary academy in Oldham
* Excellent provisions for learning with positive climate for learning

Our client school is slightly smaller then the average secondary school with less than 900 pupils currently enrolled at the school. The school is currently under-subscribed with the expectancies for numbers to rise over the next 5 years. The school was newly built in 2013, and the excellent layout and provisions for learning have been conducive to the rise in attainment and achievement since then, with standards and expectations higher than ever before. Almost all students are from minority ethnic backgrounds and speak English as an additional language. The academy meets the government’s current floor standards, which are the minimum expectations for students’ attainment and progress. You will be joining an English department that has a history of producing excellent results across Key Stages 3 and 4 with 73% students making expected or better progress.
