'Good' Secondary School looking for qualified English teacher to start January

Our ‘Good’ client schools' English department is now in need of a qualified English teacher to join a collaborative department in the new year. Any incoming English teachers will be supported in their transition to a new department and will be supported by the experienced Head of department. The school is based in the South of Nottinghamshire in the NG12 area.

The school is a large sized coeducational Academy with added sixth form. As such, A level teaching experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

The school has an Ofsted grading of “Good" but the school are looking to improve upon this for their next Ofsted inspection, so you would be joining a progressing environment. Attainment and achievement have consistently risen in the past 3 years. The number of students making expected progress in Maths and English exceeds the national average.
