English Teacher – Tameside

  • Pay ranging between £90 - £160
  • Full time English position starting September 2017

Our client school is looking for a passionate English teacher to join their thriving English department to start in September 2017. The school is a state of the art facility offering exceptional teaching to all pupils. As a result, the school is looking for an inspirational Teacher of English who is able to provide students with the education required to excel at English within a school setting as well as in the wider community.

The school, most recently rated as ‘Good’ in is latest Ofsted inspection is one which exhibits a strong work ethic and students show great achievement. There are high expectations of staff and other members of the school community and the school are therefore looking for an innovative and motivated English teacher to join them. The school also performed above the National average in last year’s GCSE results, with 71% receiving a C or better in both English and Maths. The school has a large percentage of pupils who use English as an additional language at 34%.

The school is located in the SK14 post code, very easily accessible from the M67 motorway and has regular direct bus routes as well as a local train station.
