Start date is January and interviews are being taken place during December

Teacher role

• Teaching up to KS3/4 Curriculum (KS5 is not required but is a bonus)

• Working with head of English to help students reach learning goals

• Test preparation and marking

• Ed excel

• Depending on experience the teacher will be paid anywhere between £150/£175

• Class room management

• SEN experience (Dyslexic student)

• Behavior management

• Ability to manage TA's (you will have 2)

• Located in Newham

• School required special measures in 2013. Since then it has made drastic improvements and is now an Outstanding school

• 10 minute walk from local Bus station

• 1600 pupils

• Welcoming atmosphere

The Candidate

• QTS

• Proven results in raising attainment

• Full knowledge of the Ed Excel KS3/4 curriculum not a necessity but a bonus

• Willing to put in the extra work outside of school hours

• Have the ability to control a class and have an instant rapport with the pupils

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
