Are you an English Teacher seeking a full time position leading to a permanent role? Would you like to work within a rapidly improving secondary school on a flexible basis with the opportunity to progress?
If so, our client school has an urgent need for an English teacher within their department.
Teaching Personnel is delighted to announce their Catholic Schools Recruitment Partnership with Liverpool Archdiocese. The Archdiocese has a network of 227 schools and colleges across 8 local education authorities. Many of these schools have forged strong links with Teaching Personnel and use our services and candidates as part of their recruitment process.

The Role:
Person Specification
Essential
*Wide experience of teaching AS and A level English Literature at a recognised school or college.
*Familiarity with OCR A level English Literature specification
*Effective communication skills with both staff and students.
*A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Preferred
*Experience of attending regular INSET training meetings in English.
*Responsibility for some aspect of work within an English department e.g. organising visits, managing coursework assignments or moderation.
*Experience as an examiner or moderator for one of the examination boards.
*Experience in a pastoral role.
