Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a teacher of English for a Secondary faith school in the North Liverpool area. Attainment within our client school has improved significantly and students achieve well. Previously having very low attaining standards, students are now achieving at least in line with national averages, sometimes exceeding them. The Academy is slightly smaller than the average-sized secondary school with more boys attending the academy than girls. The academy has received national recognition as one of the most improving schools in the country in terms of GCSE results.
Initially this post is for 1 term (however there is the potential for a vacancy to go on until the end of the summer term), the school are seeking a qualified English teacher who will show commitment to the department and enthuse pupils through excellent teaching. You will be taking on full time responsibilities including the marking and planning schemes of work, attending the CPD opportunities and parents evening.
To be considered for this role you must be / have;
• FQT or NQT status
• Recent experience in teaching English to both KS3 / GCSE Students
• Good/ Outstanding classroom management skills.
