English Specialist Required In Secondary School - Warrington

• £110-140 per day (depending on skills and qualifications)

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Warrington who are looking for a KS3-5 secondary teacher to join their team. This position is initially a long term supply position with the possibility for extension for the right candidate. The right candidate will be appointed after lesson observation and interviews with the SLT.

Our client is a smaller than the average-sized secondary school and has fewer girls than boys. The sixth form is also smaller than average. The large majority of students are of White British heritage and the vast majority of students speak English as their first language. The percentage of disabled students and those who have special educational needs supported through school action is above the national average. The proportion of students supported at school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs is above the national average. The behaviour of students is good and students behave well around the school and are generally polite and extremely friendly.

Requirements for this position:

*QTS or NQT status with a specialism in English

*Experience teaching English in both KS3-5

*A passion for English and the desire to improve results
