A large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Greenwich have an upcoming requirement within their English department for a teacher of English from September.

Due to a restructure within the faculty, the incoming English teacher will join the school on a full time temporary basis for a minimum of three terms. There is an opportunity to obtain a fixed term contract from 2018.

Our client Secondary school is located in Greenwich a short walk from the National Rail Station and has a bus stop just outside the school. This newly built school currently has more than 800 pupils on roll, and with the facilities in place, the incoming teacher of English will have the tools available to create dynamic and inclusive lessons.

The appointed teacher of English will be fully supported by the department, and will be expected to take on full departmental responsibilities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
