A school in the Burnley area is working with Teaching Personnel to recruit an English Teacher to join their successful English department.
The school is an average sized high school with approximately 900 pupils at the school. The school is looking for a Teacher to contribute to their already successful English department through a dedicated and enthusiastic approach to their teaching. They are looking for a Teacher which is willing to get involved in the whole school literacy development plan.
The school is looking for a candidate who is able to plan engaging and challenging lessons to encourage deeper thinking and therefore accelerate pupil progress. The candidate should be comfortable with Assessment for Learning, behaviour management and they should have good subject knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.
A successful candidate will benefit from:
