Teacher of English Vacancy

  • 'Good' Catholic High School, Liverpool
  • Long-term (temporary position) Autumn and Spring term
  • Salary between (£125-£160 per day)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a client school in Liverpool who are urgently seeking a teacher of English to begin with them in October 2017 for a fixed term temporary position. The Headteacher is ideally seeking a hard-working, dedicated and passionate Teacher who can motivate and inspire their pupils.

The School:

A Roman Catholic co-educational Secondary School located in Whiston, Liverpool. This lively Catholic High School is a popular school with high academic standards across all subjects. It is amongst the highest performing schools in the LEA and boasts state of the art facilities with a new and up to date Technology suite. The Head Teacher is extremely proud of the school and him and the SLT offer full support and guidance to any support staff coming in. Teaching and Learning, behaviour and pupil progress are highlighted on the recent Ofsted report as being ‘Good’.

The Position:

- Full-time, Mon-Fri

- KS3/4 English (AQA)

- October 2017 start

- Long-term (temporary position)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
