English Teacher needed in St Helens for a Full Time Position in the new Academic Year!

  • Key Stage 3 & 4 English Teacher
  • Full Time Position leading to Permanent for the right candidate
  • Salary up to M6/£33,160 dependant on experience (Negotiable)

Are you an ambitious Key stage 3 & 4 English Teacher looking to work in a “Good” secondary school English Department? We have had a Secondary client school based in St. Helens approach us looking to recruit a KS 3 & 4 English Teacher to start in new Academic Year 2017. The role will be a full time/permanent contract for the ideal candidate.

The School caters for pupils 11-18 and is situated in St Helens, Merseyside. The school delivers education to a variety of pupils with over 1400 students on roll, with a large number of those students learning in the schools Sixth Form.

The school are interested in Qualified Teachers that have recent experience in teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 English. The role will include:

- Key Stage 3 & 4 English

- GCSE English & Literature (AQA)

- Will be expected to lead small group interventions

- PPA time allocated for planning

- Will be responsible for planning, delivery and assessment

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
