English Teacher
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
- Work in an 'Outstanding' graded school.
- Competitive rates of pay, up to £190 per day depending on experience and length of booking.
- Access to an ‘Outstanding’ CPD programme to enhance your skills and your CV.
I am representing an ‘Outstanding’ school in Tyne and Wear that are looking for a dynamic and creative English specialist for a long-term booking. The school, with pupils aged 11-18, was graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all categories from their last inspection. They are looking for a specialist with a proven track record of achieving results that match the high aspirational levels it installs within all its students.
You would be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of English lessons from KS3 to KS5, so A-Level experience is an essential requirement of this role. The ability to offer a secondary subject, such as Drama or Media would be advantageous but is not essential.
The role is due to last until the end of the academic year, although a permanent role could be found for an outstanding candidate. In return, you will receive;
• Competitive rates of pay, up to £190 per day depending on experience and length of booking.
• Access to an ‘Outstanding’ CPD programme to enhance your skills and your CV.
• A dedicated recruitment consultant, who is a teacher of 10 years’ experience himself.
• ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme, which earns you money for nominating fellow teachers for work.
• A chance to win the ‘Teacher of the Month Award’.
• Save money on needless umbrella company fees by being part of Teaching Personnel’s payroll.
For more information or to discuss this English role personally, please contact Chris Mahon on 0191 223 5071 or email christopher.mahon@teachingpersonnel.com.
