English teacher

Large high achieving RC Secondary school in the Moston region of North Manchester require an English teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 2018. This temporary position will continue until the end of the academic year and into September 2018.

• Full time English maternity cover - January 2018 start
• £22,917 - £38,633 per annum/pro-rata, to match teaching scale point
• Teaching across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four
• Full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking

"Due to an upcoming maternity leave, the English department wish to appoint an outstanding English teacher to join them from January 2018. The department are welcoming both experienced and newly qualified teachers of English to apply for this post. The incoming English teacher will be expected to create diverse and innovative lessons that cater the needs of each pupil. The faculty has four experienced teachers who all collaboratively plan, which the appointed English teacher will be expected to partake in. It is also essential that the successful teacher will follow the ethos and values of our school." - Head Teacher
