A full time position has opened for a teacher of English at our client secondary school in Basingstoke; this post is starting in January for the rest of the academic year.
This is a mixed 11-16 secondary school situated in the heart of Basingstoke; the school is easily accessible via the M3 motorway and has transport links a short walk away from the school.

• Work in an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school
• Modern building with state of the art facilities
• Pay rates in line with MPS/UPS
Our client school is an oversubscribed secondary with 900 students currently on roll, the school prides itself on their drive to achieve outstanding, high quality teaching and for students to feel safe, supported and encouraged. During their Ofsted in 2013, the school was graded ‘Good’ across all standards and currently has a p8 score of +0.17.
The English Department is a large, highly successful and well-respected department within school, they are looking for a English teacher that is passionate and has a determination to keep students motivated and increase their attainment. The English department welcomes both newly qualified and experienced teachers to apply for this post.
