English teacher

Due to upcoming gap in September, our client school in Manchester is looking to secure an English teacher, to join them in September to fill a permanent requirement.

- Teaching English at KS3 and GCSE for duration post

- Full time position, September 2018 start

- Opportunity to secure fixed term position with Manchester secondary

Our client school is a well established secondary situated on the border of Manchester and Oldham, with excellent public transport links for non-drivers. The school was recently moved to a purpose built site with teaching and learning at the forefront of its design, allowing students and staff to benefit from outstanding provisions for learning. The school has seen a recent upturn in attainment which can be accredited to the excellent management at all levels across the school, which was judged to be Good by Ofsted in their most recent inspection.

To be considered for this position, any applicants must;

- Have previous experience teaching English at both KS3 and KS4

- PGCE or relevant teaching based qualification specialising in English

- Commitment to raising attainment and encouraging pupil progress
