English Teacher

Large RC Secondary school in North Manchester have an open vacancy for an English teacher to join their school in the new academic year (2018/2019) or sooner if possible. Due to departmental restructures and oversubscription, the school require a full time English teacher to teach across Key Stage Three and GCSE for the full academic year.

It is essential that the incoming English teacher can demonstrate examples of outstanding teaching and will follow and implement the ethos and values of our school. • Full time English teaching position, September 2018 start or sooner if possible.
• Teaching a full timetable of KS3 and GCSE classes
• Full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking are required
• Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)
• Large RC 11-16 Secondary school, located near to the M60 Motorway

The recently refurbished Secondary school currently caters for 1,300 pupils and is due to increase intake in 2018/2019. Class sizes are kept small to encourage learning and there are a number of open learning spaces throughout the school so projects and interactive sessions can take place. The successful English teacher will be expected to deliver a range of diverse lessons that are inclusive of student's abilities, and promote raising attainment across the board.

Our client Secondary school is located in North Manchester, near to Newton Heath and Moston and can be accessed via the M60 motorway. There are also a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas central Manchester, Rochdale and Oldham.
