English teacher

Large RC secondary school situated in the Salford LEA have an open vacancy for an English teacher to join their school from April 2019 or sooner if possible. As this is an open gap within the faculty, the school are seeking an English teacher that wishes to secure a permanent position.

- Full- time English teacher required, April 2019 start (or sooner if possible).
- Teaching both Key Stage Three and GCSE English.
- Expectations of full planning and marking responsibilities within this position.

- Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum)

With 1,300 pupils on roll, the school is significantly larger than average for the area, and due to this - the school have provisions in place for additional classrooms to ensure class sizes are kept small. This enables the teaching staff to work with pupils on a one-to-one basis, and in small groups to ensure they are achieving the best grades they can.
