Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join one of our client schools in Manchester, with an immediate start.

If you are an English Teacher looking for a new role, whether you are newly qualified or you have previous experience working within UK secondary schools, this is a great opportunity for you.

Teaching Personnel is currently the largest Education-based recruitment agency in the UK, and we are currently working with over 95% of schools in Greater Manchester. If you are looking for more flexibility than a permanent contract can provide, this role would be ideal for you. You will have the opportunity to be placed in multiple schools in the local area, and the right candidates can be offered permanent school contracts.

The school that you will be working in has been graded ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED. The English Department is currently very successful, with good levels of attainment in relation to their pupils. It is essential for this school that you are able to effectively prepare and plan lessons that encourage good learning development. It is essential that your lessons are inclusive and accessible for EAL and SEND pupils.

Throughout this role, you will be paid in line with your teacher pay scale, (£30,000 to £46,525 per annum).

To be cleared for work, you will have to complete the Teaching Personnel registration process. You will be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references that will cover the last two years of your work history. You will also be required to apply for a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check to ensure that you do not have any criminal convictions that would prevent you from working within a school.

If you are interested in this role, please apply now by uploading the most recent version of your CV and if you are a suitable candidate, you will be contacted by someone at Teaching Personnel to discuss your registration and to discuss your registration process in more detail.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
