Join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in Bury looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join their English department.
- Full-time English Teacher.
- Required from April 2021 for the rest of the academic year – with the possibility of a permanent contract.
- Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and 4 alongside full planning and marking responsibilities.
- Supporting pupils aged 11-16.
- Both newly qualified and experienced teachers are urged to apply.
Due to a restructure with timetables, the school wants to ensure all pupils have the correct guidance they need and is looking for an additional English teacher to join their team. The school is known for its strong behaviour policies and consistently good GCSE results.
The incoming English teacher will be supporting students of varying levels of learning ability and will be expected to plan and deliver lessons to incorporate various methods of teaching, to ensure pupils are actively engaged and understand the materials clearly.
The school is in Bury and is accessible via both the M66 and A56 from surrounding areas such as central Manchester, Bolton and Rochdale. For non-drivers, the school is also easily accessible via several public transport links from areas such as Prestwich and Radcliffe.
For immediate consideration, please submit a full CV below. To obtain further information, please contact the Manchester West Secondary Branch.
