Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an English teacher on behalf of our client school located in Wigan.

Due to a long term temporary gap within their English department, this 11-16 mixed comprehensive school wish to appoint a English teacher to cover maternity leave, initially for 2 terms from September.

• Full time English teacher - September 2019 start
• Full support from an excellent management team - Identified by Ofsted
• Teaching both KS3 and GCSE English
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23,720 - £39,406

The incoming English teacher will be required to take on full teaching responsibilities including; marking, planning and attending termly parent's evenings.

The school can be found on the outskirts of the Wigan LEA, close to Leigh town centre and is easily accessible from other surrounding areas including; Wigan, Salford, Bolton and Manchester. The majority of pupils on roll (950) are of white british heritage, there are a average amount of EAL pupils on roll and those who are eligible for free school meals.
