Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to work in a large Secondary school in Plymouth from October 2018. The school caters for over 400 secondary aged pupils and have excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. The role is to work with pupils predominantly in KS3 and KS4 to support their English learning.

- £100 a day with an increased rate if role becomes long term

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be an experienced Teacher- either newly or fully qualified, with exceptional behaviour management.
  • Will be experienced in working with secondary aged pupils.
  • Will have written IEPs and other support plans.
  • Will be experienced in the education sector and with working with multi-agency organisations.
  • Be enthusiastic and able to engage children in their learning.
  • Will have a clean, full driving licence and access to a car to use daily.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
