Upcoming maternity cover required: English Language and Literature specialist starting on Monday 20^th April for a year until March 2021.

This co-educational secondary school situated in the central Manchester area is looking to recruit an English teacher to join their English department from Monday 20^th April 2020. The successful English teacher is required to join this well known and reputable secondary school as a result of an upcoming maternity cover with the current English teacher due to go on their maternity over the Easter break. The appointed English teacher will be teaching English (both Language and Literature) to GCSE level.

This is a maternity cover with the passionate teacher of English required for the remainder of the summer term. Whilst this is a maternity cover, there is the opportunity to progress onto a school based contract following this final term for the remainder of the maternity cover. The school are accepting applications from teachers of any experience level from newly qualified to more experienced teachers.

We are looking for a passionate English teacher that can teach our intelligent students in both English Language and English Literature following the AQA syllabus. • Pay will be in line with pay scale ranging between: GBP24,373 and GBP40,490
