Teaching Personnel are recruiting an English teacher on behalf of one of our client schools based in North Manchester. Due to an internal promotion, the English department require a dedicated and motivated teacher from February 2019. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' school.

  • Full time English teacher post from February 2019
  • Until the end of the academic year in the first instance
  • Opportunity for the role to lead in to the 2019/2020 academic year
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)
  • Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' secondary school

This large mixed comprehensive secondary school is located in North Manchester, in the Chadderton area. Since moving to a state of the art new building in 2008, the students have had access to excellent facilities and a fantastic learning environment. Exam results have been of a high standard in recent years, and the school have posted a positive Progress 8 score as they look to build on consecutively high GCSE results.

Applicants should have relevant teaching experience and hold Qualified Teacher Status. Experience of teaching English to both KS3 and KS4 is essential, and prospective candidates should be able to plan and deliver engaging Language and Literature lessons.
