Due to a gap within the English faculty of our client school in Bolton, a rare opportunity has emerged for an English teacher to join a well managed and highly regarded secondary Academy.

This English teacher role is initially being offered on a temporary basis (1 term) with the view to progress and earn a fixed term post for the remainder of the academic year (From January 2018).

This smaller than average Secondary Academy located in the Farnworth district of Bolton has just under 500 pupils on roll aged 11- 16. The academy is led by the guidance of a highly regarded senior management team.

Duties will include;

• Planning, preparing and delivering dynamic English lessons across Key Stage 3-4.

• Maintaining positive behaviour in the classroom using behaviour management strategies to ensure pupils are engaged, in accordance to policies in place at school

• Monitoring, assessing and evaluate pupil achievement taking appropriate action.

Located less than a few miles away from the Bolton City Centre, the Academy is perfectly situated to be accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Salford and Chorley. Public Transport Links are also easily accessible, with the Bus and Train station a few miles away from the Academy.
