English Teachers Chesterfield

Job Summary

  • Teaching Personnel are looking to employ qualified and experienced English Teachers who would like to work on a supply basis across Secondary schools in and around the Chesterfield area
  • We also have LONG TERM contracts available
  • These roles are to start immediately and we can offer both full and part time hours, to suit your needs
  • Experience of teaching English to both KS3 and KS4 is essential and up to KS5 would be advantage
  • We would also like to hear from NQTs and Cover Supervisors who also have experience within Secondary schools

Responsibilities and Duties

  • You must be able to teach English to GCSE level and be able to adapt your teaching skills to suit each school/class
  • You will be a good team player with good behaviour management skills
  • You will be able to deliver engaging and relevant English lessons to meet the varying abilities of students

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ideally you will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Have recent secondary teaching experience in the UK to be familiar with the current curriculum - up to Key Stage 4
  • Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies
  • We can also consider applications from NQT's and Instructor Teachers

  • Higher pay rates, up to £160 per day, for longer term placements

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
