Teaching Personnel are working with a school that are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic English Teacher. The role of an English Teacher

Teaching Personnel are seeking an excellent classroom practitioner who is flexible, dedicated and passionate about delivering exceptional learning experiences. We are seeking a passionate English practitioner to:

  • To drive KS3/KS4 and monitor levels of challenge, progress and achievement in those years to assess the 'GCSE readiness' of pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with the Subject
  • Create a "Can do approach to lessons to inspire pupils across the department.
  • To be a role model creative and innovative teaching, and create a climate which enables other staff to feel supported and confident in their teaching of the subject.
  • Be expected to cover and take Media classes to mixed ability sets

The successful candidates will:

  • Be highly motivated.
  • Support the development of Schemes of Work across the Key Stages.
  • Have a clear vision and pedagogical knowledge of the teaching of English (And Media is preferred but not desirable).
  • Be prepared to lead extra-curricular, educational visits and out-of-school learning.

The successful applicant will be welcomed and supported in our friendly environment where we have a passion for learning. We expect all candidates to either have a Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to process a new DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
