English Teacher - Gateshead

Are you a qualified, experienced English teacher looking to take on new roles? Are you passionate about developing young minds? If so, we may have the perfect role for you!

Teaching Personnel is working closely with an 'Outstanding' secondary based in Gateshead, which has requested a Literature and Language specialist to cover maternity from April onwards. The main criterion they have given for applicants is that they should be able to deliver curriculum for both areas to at least KS4, preparing students for their assessments, continuing into the next academic year.


  • Full-time role, commencing in April
  • Delivering English Literature and Language to Key Stages 3&4, potentially KS5 also if the candidate is capable of doing so
  • Fantastic rates of pay, ranging from £600-800 weekly
  • Planning, preparing and marking classwork
