Job description

A Brighton grammar school are looking for a full time English Teacher to teach up to GCSE. This role is to start at Easter on a temporary basis and is full time, 5 days a week. This school is centrally located in the city and has excellent resources. There is planning and preparation to this job so it is essential that the successful candidate is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching English to key stage 3 and key stage 4. This secondary school are looking to interview after February half term.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have QTS
  • Will be a fully qualified or newly qualified Teaching of English
  • Will have the ability to plan and prepare successful lessons with the support of the head of department
  • Must be able to commit to a long term, full time and term time only job
