Teacher of English

MPR/UPR (Suitable for NQT)

Required for September 2018

We are working closely with a school in Farnborough who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational English teacher from September 2018, who is passionate about raising standards and life chances of young people. This is a full time and permanent role.

This is an ideal and exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher, who together with a passion for their subject will have the drive, energy and enthusiasm to work with the existing teams to build on the strong progress already made in the department and wider school.

You will work alongside the other staff within the department to develop your teaching skills and subject knowledge.

The English department is strong with outcomes in all measures consistently at or above national average. It is a well-resourced curriculum area, suited in the main school building.

This school is an 11-16 school and has approximately 1,000 pupils on roll. It is an exceptionally exciting time to be joining the school and a great place for ambitious individuals to develop their career further. Able car parking is available onsite and we are in easy reach of London, mid Hampshire and Surrey boarders, being located just off the M3.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
