The Role and Requirements

The school is seeking a full time English Teacher to begin teaching from September 2019. The school are looking for a candidate with a UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS ideally), as well as experience as an English teacher. This position is also suitable for an NQT. This is an exciting position ideal for an English teacher seeking a new position or change of scenery. The requirements for this role are;

• You must possess a child workforce DBS on the updated service or be prepared to apply for one. (£44)
• You will ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE).
• A degree in English or similar subject.
• Have experience teaching English to classes of 30 at KS3 and KS4. KS5 would be an advantage.
• Have a passion for education and teaching English.
