English teaching opportunity (Corby)

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a mixed secondary school in Corby who is seeking a teacher of English to begin in the coming weeks. The school is part of a successful trust who aims to work in partnership with parents and community to deliver outstanding education to students. The school values include resilience and respect while understanding that a strong academic foundation can be supported by extra curricular activities. These activities support the development of well rounded, confident young people alongside an academic curriculum which encourages pupils to reach high standards. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated and cohesive English department who are passionate about helping students succeed. They will be required to teach on a full time basis and will receive a pay rate between £130 - £170 per day.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an experienced teacher of English having previously taught the subject to KS3/KS4
  • Have outstanding behaviour management skills with strong classroom presence
  • Be able to communicate effectively with students and staff alike
  • Be prepared to work collaboratively with students and the department in order to ensure progress is made
  • Monitor results and drive success within the department
  • Promote the values and ethos of the school
  • Be dedicated to and passionate about teaching English with the capability to motivate and inspire students
