Could you be part of an English Department who is committed to providing high quality teaching and learning for all students?
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated English Teacher who can demonstrate passion and drive?
We are seeking a friendly and committed English Teacher who will contribute to the developing journey of this large school in Canary Wharf.

This English Teacher role requires you to hold DfES recognised QTS and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Teacher wishing to develop their career.

  • To be considered you must be an innovative English Teacher who can establish high expectations.
  • You will have a flair for communication and the ability to effectively organise and deliver challenging, captivating lessons.
  • You will have a resilient and patient manner and be able to encourage creativity in the class room.

About the English Teacher role
In this exciting English Teacher position, you will be working in the industrious English faculty, surrounded by excellent colleagues. This is a large and dedicated team and you will be teaching across Key Stage 3 & 4 with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 if you are an English Teacher with experience in this area. In addition to English Literature and Language, the students are also taught Media Studies at GCSE as part of the varied curriculum.
