A rare opportunity has arisen for an English teacher to work within a top client school within the Bolton area.

The school are looking to employ a forward thinking passionate English teacher that will integrate with their high achieving English department. The successful English teacher will be required to take on a full timetable where you will be teaching students up to GCSE level. You will be covering a member of staff on a 12 months basis due to the teacher taking maternity leave.

• Full time English teacher- 12 month fixed term contract

• Teaching students English up to GCSE level

• Must hold UK QTS and have recent experience teaching English to KS3 and GCSE

• Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917 - £38,633)

• Must have experience teaching English to KS4 and KS4

The school are looking for a self-driven, English teacher that can bring enthusiasm to their lessons and be able to increase engagement and progression amongst the students. The successful English teacher must have had recent experience teaching English to both KS3 and GCSE students of mixed abilities. You will be joining an English department that has consistently achieved high results and continues to improve. The head of department is looking form someone with a genuine interest and passion for English and somebody that enjoys teaching pupils ranging in ability and pushing them to succeed.

The school is a large 11-16 school with around 1600 students on roll and is located minutes from the M61. Please be aware that the school holds a strong catholic ethos, although it is not essential that you are catholic to be considered for this position, applicants must respect the catholic ethos. The school is a short drive from the M61 motorway and has direct access to central Manchester.
