English Teacher
Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an English teacher for a 'Good' rated school by Ofsted located in Wigan.
The school are looking to fill a recent gap in their English department and the successful candidate will be employed on a for the remainder of the academic year with a view to earning a permanent contract in September 2019.
- English Teacher - February 2019 start
- Pay is in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £33,824)
- Teaching English to both KS3 and KS4 students
- Experienced teachers are preferred however NQT's also welcomed
The successful candidate will be joining a consistently improving English department where there is constant support from an excellent Head of Department and senior leadership members. You will be expected to be comfortable in teaching English to both KS3 and KS4 students of all abilities and be able to stretch the learning their pupils.
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your teaching skills in a school which has been rated 'good' across the board. The ideal candidate will be passionate about English and be able to transfer this in their teaching. The incoming member of staff will be able to consistently provide high quality teachings and evidence previous good/outstanding teaching practice alongside excellent results.

- Is smaller than the average Secondary school and currently has 800 pupils on roll.
- Is based in Golborne on the outskirts of Wigan and is just minutes away from the A580.
- Has an abundance of transport links in and out of Wigan and can be easily accessed from surrounding areas.
- Was graded 'Good' across the board in its most recent Ofsted report.
