Are you an English Specialist Teaching Assistant looking for a position in the Nelson area?
Are you keen to secure work starting in January 2018?

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in the Nelson Area to recruit an English Support Assistant starting in January. The school are looking to expand the staffing within the English department to support the pupils in the run up to the GCSE examinations. A successful candidate will be expected to support pupils both in the classroom and also in small groups. The position is initially through until the Easter break, however for the suitable candidate is likely to continue through until Summer 2018.

The school is a smaller than average secondary school with approximately 500 pupils on roll. The school is looking for members of staff who are able to proactively manage behaviour and deal with challenging pupils.
A suitable candidate should be experienced with the new English specifications up to KS4. Candidates should ideally be familiar with the AQA specifications, however this is not essential.

Candidates considering applying for this role should:
- Have recent experience supporting pupils with KS3/4 English
- Be available to start in January 2018
- Have experience working with challenging pupils
