Job description

Here at Teaching Personnel I am currently looking to recruit a number of Core subject teachers across English, Maths and Science on behalf on my Secondary school client in the Pontefract area WF8. I have a number of long-term positions across all 3 departments, some of these are to start as soon as possible and some start later in the year.
This school is currently in a stage of rapid improvement with the end goal for the school to become rated 'Good' by OFSTED achieved by December 2019. This makes it a very exciting time to be part of the school as there is a big support system that has been put in place by the trust. With the introduction of a new experienced Headteacher, this school is in a very positive space at the moment with a lot of opportunities for permanent positions.
I am looking for the following:
- Specialist subject knowledge within Maths, English or Science
- Recent experience of teaching 9-1 GCSE across all abilities
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to promote their chosen subject
- Be open to helping cover lessons across the department
- Someone who can commit to the school and act as a permanent member of the school
With this school being part of an ever growing Multi Academy Trust, it is a great opportunity to showcase your skill, talent and enthusiasm for teaching to keep you best placed to secure a role across the trust. A lot of these roles are temporary from 2 weeks up to 13 weeks plus giving you the flexibility to earn competitive rates of pay in line with MPS/UPS salaries.
Working for Teaching Personnel:
- Competitive rates of pay in line with MPS/UPS
- Your own specialised personal consultant finding your perfect role
- Unlimited Teacher referral scheme
- Flexible working opportunities
