Large high achieving Secondary school located at the heart of Salford town centre requires a teacher of English to cover a maternity leave from Easter 2019 till December 2019.

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a Salford Secondary school to recruit a passionate English teacher to join their highly successful English department for a maternity cover.

This Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school wish to appoint a dynamic practitioner who is committed to aspiring young people through outstanding teaching and learning.

  • Full time English maternity cover - Easter 2019 start.
  • Must hold QTS alongside relevant degree level qualifications within English to be considered.
  • Applications are urged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
  • Working within a successful department with a supportive Head of English and Senior Leadership.
  • £23,720 - £39, 406 per annum.

"Due to an upcoming maternity leave, the English department wish to appoint a teacher of English to join them from April 2019. The department are welcoming both experienced and newly qualified teachers of English to apply for this post. The incoming English teacher will be expected to create diverse and inventive lessons that cater to the needs of each pupil." - Head Teacher.

Located in the Swinton region of Salford, this over subscribed Secondary School can easily be accessed via the A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There are also various public transport options available with links across Great Manchester.
