English Graduates -Stockton
Are you a recent English Graduate wishing to pursue a career in Secondary teaching in the future? Are you motivated by helping children to succeed in Literacy?
If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a good school in Stockton. The school wish to appoint a skilled English Graduate to work alongside the English department to support the learning of all pupils across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four in reading, writing, and literacy skills.
It is preferential that the successful English Graduate has previous experience working with young people, either through tuition or a support role.
Over view
- Full time and part time English Graduate teaching assistant positions available
- Gain invaluable experience prior to completing PGCE/teacher training course
- Earn up to £300 per week
- Supporting pupils in class with work, and on a 1:1 basis
- Reporting to the Head of English
- Covering English lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Planning and arranging tailored sessions for pupils

Our partner Secondary school has recently been praised for an improving Progress 8 Score of +0.01, meaning all pupils are making the expected progress throughout their education. The role of English Graduate teaching assistant will be to ensure that all pupils are challenged and pushed to achieve in English, whilst having the suitable support network around them.
