Job description

A main stream primary school in the Hulme area of Manchester (M15) is seeking an English Graduate, who is passionate about education, to join their staffing team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will deliver small group intervention sessions in literacy to children across the school that needs additional support to help to raise attainment. This is a full time teaching assistant position that will start ASAP and will run for the rest of the academic year.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work across KS1 and KS2 to upskill learners in reading, writing and spelling. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the 'Letters and Sounds' scheme for phonics and will be able to deliver effective 1:1 and small group intervention sessions. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
