English Graduate Teaching Assistant

Job description

A client school in Central Manchester are seeking a dedicated English Graduate to work in the KS2 department within their school. The post will start in September and will run until the end of the academic year. The head teacher is seeking a dedicated, hardworking graduate who will assist lower ability juniors to help raise attainment in English and reading. This two form entry primary school was rated 'OUTSTANDING' at it's last OFSTED inspection and is seeking a bubbly, enthusiastic graduate who will adhere to the warm and welcoming ethos of the school.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an English degree
  • Have experience supporting children's learning
  • Want to develop a career in education

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
