Our client school located in Warrington wish to appoint a English Graduate TA ahead of September to provide support to their pupils who will be preparing for GCSE examinations in 2020.
This position will be on a temporary basis for the full academic year from September 2019 to July 2020. The school wish to appoint an English specialist teaching assistant, making it the ideal opportunity for any English graduate who is looking to gain experience working as a teaching assistant, prior to beginning a teacher training course in the future.
This is a part time opportunity whereby the successful applicant will be required to work within the English department 2/3 days per week, providing tuition support to pupils who have been identified to require additional support within their English studies.

- Providing English tuition to pupils aged 14 - 16 who are preparing for GCSE examinations
- Warrington based secondary school with accessible via public transport from the town centre
- Earn up to £180 per week (3 days)
Within this English Graduate TA role you will work directly within the English department supporting pupil on a one to one and small group basis where you will receive support from a highly experience Head of Department. You will be required to provide additional English support to pupils in key stage 4 who require support in raising their attainment to ensure they achieve their target grades.
The school is a large mixed comprehensive school located to the North of the centre of Warrington. The M62 is very close to the school for those with their own transport, making it very easily accessible from the Wigan, Padgate, Newton-le-Willows and Lymm areas. The school boasts excellent facilities and is set within pleasant surroundings.
