English Graduate - Spalding

Teaching Personnel are working across Spalding and surrounding areas in partnership with a number secondary schools that are seeking English graduates for Teaching Personnel's Future Teacher programme. The Future Teachers programme will help English graduates find positions working as graduate teaching assistants and to gain the necessary experience working in a school setting before joining a school centred teacher training programme or a PGCE.

• Paid employment for the duration (£60+ per day)

The Future Teachers programme is an initiative to help support schools across Spalding and the surrounding areas to find their next cohort of trainee teachers, as well as supporting English graduates in their first steps in to a career in working in education. This is a comprehensive scheme which will enable English graduates to start their teacher training programmes with an advanced skill-set and comfortably work with students of mixed ages and abilities.

Whilst working as a graduate teaching assistant during the Future Teachers programme, you will hold set responsibilities which will include;

• Providing subject knowledge and support during lessons
• Delivering revision and booster sessions for key students in the cohort
• Working with students on a 1-to-1 basis enabling them to access the curriculum
• Covering full lessons under the guidance of teaching staff, including effectively managing the classroom
