- Full-time English graduate required.
- From Easter 2020 or earlier if possible.
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis who require extra literacy focus in order to raise their attainment.
- Earn up to GBP350 per week, dependent on experience.
Working as an English intervention specialist, you will be:
- Working alongside class teachers supporting students aged 11-16.
- Supporting pupils with learning difficulties and Special Educational Needs.
- Expected to incorporate inventions to aid the student’s learning and behaviour with the hopes of raising their progress and attainment.
- Assisting students on a 1:1 basis when they are withdrawn from English lessons to attend literacy intervention sessions.
To be considered for this English Graduate intervention role it is required that you have experience of working with children or young people previously. You must also have a degree within English or a transferrable subject.
In particular, our client school would like candidates that are familiar with students that are known to show challenging behaviour alongside their learning difficulties and therefore, require extra support with their studies.
Our client school is based in Bury and can be accessed via the M62 and A56 from surrounding areas for those who have their own transportation. For non-drivers, there are several forms of public transport with links to Bolton, Rochdale and central Manchester.
