Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a teacher of Engineering to join our partner school from March until the end of the academic year on a full time temporary basis.

  • Full time role, immediate start
  • Temporary position through to July 2019
  • Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)
  • Introduction to a vibrant and welcoming secondary school in central Manchester

We are seeking an experienced teacher of Engineering to join our partner schools Technology department to teach GCSE Engineering. The successful teacher will be confident in delivering lessons on product analysis and research and 3D design realisation and will teach the OCR Level 1 / 2 Cambridge National Award/Certificate. We are looking for a teacher to join as soon as possible but an Easter start would also be possible for the successful candidate.

Our partner school is a popular and vibrant comprehensive secondary school with just over 1000 pupils on roll. The school is located in central Manchester just a short drive from the city centre and easily accessible by public transport. Our partner school is committed to creating a caring and vibrant environment where students are challenged and supported. The percentage of students whose first language is not English and pupils who have been eligible for free school meals within the last 6 years is significantly higher than the national average however our partner school is committed to transforming the lives of some of the most disadvantaged young people.
