Are you looking for a new challenge making a significant difference to young people's lives?

Do you have experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour in an academic or residential setting?

I am looking for an exceptional support worker to work with young people in a Pupil Referral Unit in the Bury area. This role involves supporting pupils in the classroom, through extra curricular activities, and in a pastoral capacity.

These young people have been excluded from mainstream education, and are educated in smaller class sizes, with more of a focus on sports and outreach activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using creative methods to engage young people, and have an ability to work very well under pressure.


  • Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour
  • Resilience, Creativity, and an ability to build rapport effectively
  • A Child Only DBS on the update service, or a willingness to gain one
